Litemax Navpixel NPD1744 sunlight-readable marine monitor

Interworld Electronics has released the Navpixel Marine BV-certified NPD1744 sunlight-readable marine monitor from Litemax. Engineered to survive in marine environments and housed in a rugged aluminium case, the slim-profile monitor features a waterproof IP65 front bezel and an optional resistive touch screen.

A 17″ 1280 x 1024 resolution LCD, high-brightness 1000 nit LED backlights, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a wide viewing angle make the display easy to view under extreme conditions. A night-mode function allows the brightness to be manually adjusted from 1000 down to 0.5 nits.

The product provides two VGA, two DVI and three composite video inputs. A picture-in-picture mode allows two video sources to be displayed simultaneously.

Navpixel NPD Series monitors can operate from a 9 to 36 VDC power input. The range includes monitors with screen sizes ranging from 8.4 to 24″.
