Advantech Intel Core 2 Duo 15" panel PC

An Intel Core 2 Duo processor-based 15 panel PC with touch screen, designed for HMI users requiring high performance and multiple communication interfaces, has been released.

The Core 2 Duo kernel improves work efficiency in computing and multimedia. Built-in expansion slots include PCIe, Mini PCIe, and Mini PCI, increasing scalability and allowing integration of many custom function cards.

It is also equipped with dual gigabit ethernet connectors enhancing communication reliability by providing failover and LAN teaming support.

The processor and 945 GME chipset power almost any application. They are suitable for industrial equipment makers, mobility equipment, and monitoring and process control equipment, and host information. The system is tested to 1G for vibration and 0 to 50°C for operating temperature. It is dust tight and resistant to water. Onboard hardware monitoring protects it against overheating.

The device supports multiple, built-in expansion slot options including PCIe, Mini PCIe, Mini PCI and PCI, allowing users to integrate custom function cards. The availability of I/O connectors - line in/out, mic in, BIOS selectable serial ports, GPIO and USB 2.0 ports - increases its ability to scale and to access a variety of peripherals.

The PC supports LAN teaming and failover configuration using dual-gigabit ethernet connectors. With teaming, the two physical NICs can be configured as one logical connection, effectively doubling the throughput.
