Advantech UNO-2174A and UNO-2178A embedded automation computers

Two Intel Atom-based embedded automation computers, UNO-2174A and UNO-2178A are available. Both feature low power consumption dual-core 1.67 GHz Atom CPUs and 2 GB DDR2 RAM.

They are also Energy Star certified, IP40 antidust ingress rated and assessed to work in temperatures ranging from -10 to 70° C.

Both are supplied with 5.1 HD channel audio, 4 x serial ports (2 x RS232/485 ports and 2 x RS232/422/485) that support any required baud rate.

Additionally, 2 x GbE ports support teaming function for networking backup while 6 x USB 2.0 ports have been integrated to support an increased variety of peripherals.

The UNO-2174A is also equipped with1 x printer port while the UNO-2178A supports an additional 4 x RS232/485 serial ports via an additional cable.

In addition, they are designed with 2 x full-sized mini PCIe and 1 x SIM card slots. Optional plug-in PC/104+ and PCI-104 daughterboards 2174A /2178A provide the optimal choices for multifunction applications.

The devices also support a number of embedded OSs, allowing users to perform remote management.
