Alta Data Technologies’ PCCD-1553 and ECD54-1553 interface modules are multichannel (1–2) 1553 cards supported by the latest software technologies.

The cards are based on the AltaCore 32-bit 1553 FPGA protocol engine and a feature-rich application programming interface, AltaAPI, which is a multilayer ANSI C and Windows .NET 2.0 (MSVS 2005 C++, C#, VB .NET) architecture. This hardware and software package provides increased system performance and reduces integration time.

The PCCD-1553 is a standard type II PCMCIA/PCCARD and the ECD54-1553 is a standard 54 mm PCI ExpressCard. They pass SAE AS4111/4112 protocol tests and support both full protocol testing and signal capture. Features include variable message framing/subframing with transmission scheduling, plus RT, monitor, playback and signal generator functions to meet demanding requirements.

AltaCore is 1553B Notice II and IV compliant and all cards are manufactured to the highest IPC-Level 3 standards and ISO 9001: 2008 processes. Cards are available in dual-function (BC/Mon or multi-RT/Monitor) or full-function (BC, mRT and Mon) configurations. Playback and signal generation are part of BC operations and waveform capture is for monitor-only operation.
