Avalue ECM-945GSE/ECM-945GSE plus micro module range
Avalue’s 3.5″ micro modules, the ECM-945GSE and ECM-945GSE Plus, have been released. The GSE is powered by an onboard Atom N270 1.6 GHz CPU with a 945GSE/ICH7-M chipset. The module features a 200-pin SODIMM socket, which supports up to 2 GB DDR2 400/533 SDRAM.
With 6 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x EIDE (ultra DMA100), 2 x SATA, 2 x COM, 1 x KB and M, the device has increased connectivity.
The GSE Plus is powered by an Atom 1.6 GHz N270 processor as well, but also has the option of six different expansion modules. It is supplied with 1 GB of onboard DDR2 RAM, 6 x USB 2.0 ports, 2 x SATA ports, and 2 x Mini PCI Express slots.
The 3.5″ SBC features VGA and LVDS video outputs, dual 82583V gigabit ethernet connectivity, and a 945GSE northbridge and ICH7M southbridge chipset.
