Avalue’s AMD Embedded G-Series platform includes a low-power CPU and advanced GPU integrated into a single embedded accelerated processing unit (APU) - the EQM-A50M Qseven Module. The board allows for high-performance multimedia content delivery in a small form factor and a power-efficient platform for a variety of embedded designs.

The Qseven platform is a system-on-module architecture which allows easy integration. Its small footprint of 70 x 70 mm allows it to be easily integrated into small box PCs and a variety of embedded applications.

The EQM-A50M has adopted the AMD G-series T40E Dual Core 1.0 GHz or T16R 615 MHz CPUs with the AMD A50M system chipset. This module supports dual channel 18/24 bit LVDS as well as HDMI/ DP + LVDS to baseboard multi-display configurations.

The I/O functionality includes 2 x SATA, 8 x USB 2.0 ports to baseboard, 4 x PCIex1 and LPC. It supports up to 4 GB DDR3 800/1066 MHz SDRAM onboard and one Realtek8111E Gigabit Ethernet interface. The product has been designed to meet the demands of the embedded market, such as POS/kiosk, digital signage, gaming machines, medical and transportation.
