FUTEK LCB400 rod-end load cell

FUTEK has released the Model LCB400, which is a rod-end load cell (tension/compression) designed for applications involving inline actuators or hydraulic jacks with male/female threads.

The standard model has male/female threads, using lightweight 2024 aluminium for lower capacities and a robust 17-4 stainless steel for the higher capacities. This model is suitable for the mid- to high-range capacity requirements 453 to 4535 kg. For any applications that require a higher capacity range, users should refer to the LCB450.

The load cell has high stiffness, nonlinearity of ±0.5% and deflection of 0.001″ nominal. It uses metal foil strain gauge technology and can be modified or customised to meet the user’s requirements.

Other features include weight of 226–567 g, low deflection, a Bendix receptacle and an optional mating connector.
