Gowanda Electronics ER10M and ER17S RF thru-hole inductors
Gowanda Electronics has received QPL approval, for RF thru-hole inductors requiring ‘established reliability’ for military applications.
This represents the company’s entrance into established reliability products and this approval requires extensive life testing across thermal, electrical, mechanical and environmental test spectrums.
The ER10M and ER17S inductors meet MIL-PRF-39010 specifications to failure rate level M. Life testing is ongoing at the company’s in-house environmental testing lab and will continue until the more demanding failure rate level - level R - is attained.
The new series represent reliable off-the-shelf inductors for high-reliability applications.
ER10M is approved for MIL-PRF-39010/08, 09 and 10. Performance includes: inductance from 0.10 to 1000 µH; Q min from 25 to 55; SRF MHz min from 3.4 to 680; DCR Ω max from 0.08 to 72 and current rating DC mA from 28 to 1350.
ER17S is approved for MIL-PRF-39010/01, 02 and 03. Performance includes: inductance from 0.10 to 1000 µH; Q min from 40 to 60; SRF MHz min from 3.8 to 250; DCR Ω max from 0.025 to 17.5 and current rating DC mA from 70 to 1790.
