ICP DAS’s ALM-04-MRTU MP3 Alert module features an RS-485 connection and supports the Modbus RTU protocol. The controller makes for an easy way to incorporate RS-485 connectivity into the monitoring and control system, which enables effective integration in SCADA software and HMI.

The module includes four channels of isolated DI, with eight alarm modes, one channel relay output and one audio line out. It uses the MP3 audio format (44.1 kHz/128 kbps is preferred) and all files are stored in Micro SD (T-Flash).

The product is easy to install as it supports panel mounting, wall mounting and DIN rail. It functions seamlessly in tough conditions, as it has an operating temperature of -20 to +75°C with humidity levels of 10–95% RH (non-condensing).

The module is suitable for many applications, including, but not limited to, building automation, security automation, machine automation, factory automation, testing equipment and fire alarm systems.
