ICP DAS VXC-118U and VXC-148U communication boards
ICP Electronics Australia has released the VXC-118U 8-Port RS-232 and VXC-148U 8-Port RS-422/485 Universal PCI communication boards from ICP DAS.
The VXC-118U communication card provides eight RS232 serial ports, while the VXC-148U provides eight RS422/485 serial ports. Each port is equipped with a 256 B hardware FIFO and offers speed up to 115,200 bps. Both cards support a driver allowing COM port numbers to be automatically assigned. The serial communication cards are designed for use with intelligent devices like barcode readers, serial printers, intelligent sensors, instrumentation equipment, computers and almost any device with an RS422/485 port.
The devices feature short card design and support 3.3 V/5 V PCI bus and plug and play. They support various operating systems including Windows 8 32-/64-bit, Windows XP/2003/2008/Vista/7 32-/64-bit version OS.
