ICP Electronics IES-3073GC ethernet switch

The IES-3073GC managed redundant ring ethernet switch, equipped with 7 x 10/100 Base-T(X) ethernet ports and 3x gigabit combo ports, has been released.

The switch features ethernet redundancy protocol O-Ring (recovery time <10 ms over 250 units of connection), O-RSTP and MSTP/RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1s/w/D). It is designed to protect applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions with its fast recovery speed.

One of the most noticeable features of the IES-3073GC is that it is equipped with 3x gigabit combo ports, a feature designed to strengthen the device’s fibre-optic ethernet connectivity capabilities.

The device has a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +70°C which is suitable for operation in most harsh environments. Other features include PTP client (precision time protocol) clock synchronisation, IGMP v2/v3 (IGMP snooping support) for filtering multicast traffic, port trunking for easy bandwidth management, DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) and SNMP v1/v2c/v3 support for secure network management

All the functions of IES-3073 GC can be managed centrally via the included windows utility software, Open Vision, that enables users to manage and monitor all ethernet switches on an industrial network.
