IEI has released the AFL-15i/17i/19-HM55 series of 15-19″ AFOLUX PPCs.

All models of the series feature the Intel Core i processor with HM55 chipset. Technologies like hyper-threading and an integrated graphics core provide audio/video and processing performance.

Other features include 2x 204-pin sockets, DDR3 RAM (up to max of 8 GB), audio line-out, 1x RS232, 1x RS232/422/485, 4x USB, 2x GB LAN and 1x VGA. Additionally the systems offer HDMI, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR USB interface and a mini PCIe socket for Wi-Fi expandability.

Each has a viewing angle of 178°/178° (H/V) and are sunlight readable.

The included software utility allows users to adjust system settings via the 5-wire resistive touch screen within Windows, instead of making adjustments via the membrane keypad (below the front panel). The front panel is IP64 rated, making it dust and splash resistant.

The high-speed SATA storage interface is a 2.5″ SATA II with a speed of 3 Gbps. The HDD bay has an additional 7+15pin SATA interface giving the user a more reliable and faster data rate than a CF card.

The high-definition multimedia interface delivers high-definition video support with 1080p resolution (1920x1080). This supports video modes including 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p. The HDMI port enables the delivery of high-definition images on a second display.
