IEI ECW-281B/B2-D525 fanless embedded system
IEI has released the ECW-281B/B2-D525 fanless embedded system, equipped with the Intel Atom D525 1.8 GHz processor.
By using hyperthreading technology, the processor maintains four virtual cores, allowing several processes to run simultaneously. Power consumption is also much less.
The system supports up to 2 GB DDR3 RAM and features WLAN 802.11 b/g/n support, 4x USB, 2x PCIe LAN, 6x COM and 1x VGA port. Alternatively, ECW-281B2-D525 offers 5x COM and 2x VGA ports.
It features 1x 2.5″ SATA drive bay and 1x CompactFlash II slot along with space for 1 x 2.5″ SATA HDD.
Variations can be expanded using additional modules connected via a PCIe slot.
A wide operating temperature is a special feature ranging from -20 to +65°C.
