IEI Technology Icefire mobile clinic assistant

The ICEFIRE from IEI Technology is a 10.4″ mobile clinic assistant.

Based on the Intel Atom D525 dual core platform and powered by Windows 7 embedded, this compact tablet PC is designed specifically for healthcare environments. In addition to its lightweight design, dual hot swappable batteries and ergonomic features, the device has seamless wireless communication and data acquisition customised to aid healthcare facilities in providing point-of-care service.

The assistant features an IP64-compliant front panel for rugged applications and an integrated 1D/2D barcode reader, RFID reader and digital camera for data acquisition. Built in is a fingerprint reader and an optional smart card reader for security and access control.

With Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3.75 G wireless connectivity, there is wireless communication and an optional docking station with multifunctional extensions and applications.
