ICP Electronics Australia has released IEI’s KINO-AQ870 Mini-ITX industrial motherboard with support for the 4th generation Intel Core processors and the Intel Q87 system chipset, designed for excelling in data and video transmission throughput.

The industrial-grade motherboard supports DDR3 1066/1333/1600 MHz dual-channel SDRAM up to 16 GB. The board is I/O rich and features 4 x USB 3.0 (2 x r=ear I/O, 2 x pin header), 6 x USB 2.0 (2 x rear I/O 4 x pin header), 6 x COM, 4 x SATA GBps with RAID support and 8-bit digital I/O.

The product supports Intel Ethernet Controller I211 on LAN 1, Intel Ethernet Connection I217-LM with Intel Active Management Technology 9.0 via LAN 2, plus three independent displays of HDMI, DP, DVI and VGA with build-in flexible display functionality. In addition, the device supports 3D micro-architecture enhancements in DX11.1, OCL 1.2 and OGL4.0.

The unit supports dual- and quad-core 4th Generation Intel Core processors suited to high-performance applications such as gaming, surveillance security monitoring, public infotainment and platforms for high-resolution digital signage applications.
