Mini-Circuits MDB-73H+ wideband double-balanced MMIC mixers

Mini-Circuits has introduced a range of tiny wideband double-balanced MMIC mixers which provide high isolation over 2200-7000 MHz with +15 dBm LO power, low conversion loss over broad frequency range and high IP3, all in a 4 x 4 x 1 mm package.

The MDB-73H+ provides good repeatability and consistent performance over a wide frequency range and is suitable for a wide variety of commercial and defence-related applications, from satellite communications to radar. Requiring no DC power, the tiny MMIC mixers are suitable in dense PCB layouts.

The mixers have an InGaP HBT structure with integrated LO and RF baluns to achieve low conversion loss of 8 dB with flatness of ±1 dB over the entire 2200-7000 MHz range. High L-I isolation (46 dB) and L-R isolation (39 dB) reduce the need for external filtering. Rated for typical LO power of +15 dBm, they achieve +24 dBm typical IP3 and reach 1 dB compression point with +10 dBm input (RF or IF) power.
