National Semiconductor Simple Switcher power modules range

National Semiconductor’s Simple Switcher range allows users to design and optimise robust power supplies with the minimum set of external components.

Supporting input voltages between 3 and 75, each series has multiple products with pin-to-pin compatibility.

The LMZ modules are claimed to deliver good EMI and thermal performance, and provide high efficiency and a wide input voltage and load current range.

The LM2267x/LM22680 series features the lowest BOM count, the LM2557x/557x regulators feature best transient performance and the LM310x regulators feature the highest efficiency. The LM315x controllers provide support for high-power output designs.
