Perfectron SR700 fanless rugged system with M12 connectors

Perfectron’s MIL-STD fanless system, the SR700, features a rugged design, high performance and specially integrated MIL-STD M12 connectors. With full IP65 classification, the embedded PC is resistant to dust and water. It can operate effectively in harsh environments and supports extended temperature operation from -40 to +75°C. The computer is suitable for military purposes, including defence, marine, navigation and aviation applications.

The product is based on the Intel Haswell QM87 chipset and is powered by an Intel 4th generation Core i7-4700EQ processor. The 9-36 VDC input design can protect the system from damage caused by sudden voltage surges, ensuring the reliability of its critical components and the system itself. The unit can withstand vibration up to 5 Grms and shock up to 50 G, making it suited to all-terrain vehicle applications.

Robust M12 connectors are fitted, providing stability and protection. The connectors can seal the connector areas securely, allowing operation to continue uninterrupted even under severe conditions such as contamination, moisture and vibration. The product has passed MIL-STD-810G tests concerning its resistance to extremely high and low temperature, humidity, shock and vibration.

As a fully integrated, tested and qualified system, the product can withstand and survive in a multitude of harsh surroundings, even in fields like mining and offshore drilling.
