A range of Radiocrafts RC232 embedded wireless modules and expansion boards for Australia and New Zealand is designed to integrate into the Sierra Wireless 3G Fastrack modem, creating a short-range wireless hub that can then connect over 3G to the outside world.

The high-performance RF modules and expansion boards suit a variety of wireless short-range applications based on the RC232 protocol.

The RC2500HP - RC232 is a compact surface-mounted module for multi-channel GFSK/MSK operation in the 2.45 GHz band with a UART interface. The module includes a range extension LNA and PA and has numerous applications in M2M communication, sensors and control environments.

Also available is a demo kit suitcase for rapid prototyping and proof of concept for the module.

The RC1140 and RC2500HP IESM expansion cards offer 433 MHz, RC232 and 2.4 GHz, RC232 to Sierra’s modem effectively turning it into an RC232 gateway. The RC1140 and RC2500HP IESM expansion cards also offer point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and peer-to-peer networking.
