Radiocrafts ZigBee Network Module range

Radiocrafts’ high-performance, standard RF modules and expansion board for use in a variety of wireless short-range applications based on the 802.15.4 ZigBee have been released.

The ZigBee Network Module range offers the complete ZigBee network protocol based on a ZigBee PRO compliant platform and includes support for the ZigBee Smart Energy profile.

The modules are supplied with an easy-to-use API interface. Software stacks for 6LoWPAN, RF4CE and wireless HART are also available from third parties and can be loaded onto the modules.

The modules support full function device and reduced function device operation with IEEE 802.15.4 compliant PHY and MAC layers with a 250 Kbps data rate.

The compact shielded modules can be supplied with low or high power output (up to 20 dBm) and provide line-of-sight coverage up to 2.5 km. They work at 2400 MHz, which is licence-free for Australia and New Zealand.

Radiocrafts also offers a ZNM IESM expansion board that slots into the Sierra wireless fastrack Xtend 3G/GPRS modems to create a ZNM out-of-the-box mobile gateway solution.
