Yantel VAB and VAE Series Rotary Variable Attenuators
Yantel has introduced its VAB and VAE Series Rotary Variable Attenuators, which operate in a wide frequency range of DC to 6000 MHz.
The product is available in two operating configurations - fixed step sizes and continuous steps. The fixed step type is the VAB series and offers 0 to 30 dB over three models with step values of 1, 2 or 3 dB. The continuous step type is the VAE series and offers a range of 0 to 15 or 0 to 30 dB. Both have a 3 W power rating and operating temperature of -40 to +85°C, with an impedance of 50 or 75 Ω, low VSWR and low insertion loss.
These connectorised units are available with BNC, N or SMA terminations. They are suitable for broadcast, general RF applications and the lab test bench.
