Aaeon AEC-6913 embedded controller

The AEC-6913 is a high-performance standalone embedded PC featuring fanless operation, compact size, robust construction and low power requirements. It is based on the Intel D2550 1.86 GHz multicore processor to provide an energy-efficient processing platform.

The product is equipped with one SODIMM socket supporting up to 4 GB of DDR3 system memory, two Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet connectors, six USB 2.0 ports, four RS232 ports and four RS232/422/485 ports for communication. Industrial-grade isolation is provided for two of the multiprotocol communications ports.

A 2.5″ SATA hard drive can be internally mounted for operating system and data storage, a CFast slot provides support for Compact Flash storage cards and a SIM Card slot enables 3G compatibility. System expansion is possible via two Mini-PCIe Card slots and either a PCI-E or a PCI riser card allow 1x PCI-E or 2xPCI add-in cards to be installed.

With high expansion capability and the provision for three external antennas, it is easy to add Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and mobile phone support. The product provides a DVI-I video output, allowing 1x DVI-D or 1x VGA graphics display to be connected.

The fanless design reduces the possibility of airborne corrosive or conductive materials entering the system. The product operates from a 9-30 VDC power source.
