Aaeon AEC-6915 Revision B fanless industrial PC controller

Interworld has released the AEC-6915 Revision B fanless industrial PC controller from Aaeon. It features a dual core processor and 4-PCI expansion slots allowing users to expand the system to fulfil a diverse range of requirements.

The controller is built around the Core 2 Duo (T7200) 2 GHz processor and supports up to 2GB of DDRII SODIMM memory. Its I/O includes four COM ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one gigabit LAN, VGA and audio outputs.

All I/O connectors are mounted on the same side of the chassis. An internal CompactFlash slot and 2.5-in SATA hard-drive bay provide storage, while a slimline DVD-ROM drive bay is available for program installation.

A heat-spreading system and fanless design allows the device to operate in ambient temperatures from -15 to 55°C for a CompactFlash based system and from -15°C to 50°C for hard-drive-based systems.
