Bestech Australia has released the TZ-1DA AC signal isolation transducer, from Asahi Keiki.
The device converts AC input into a range of standardised DC voltages and currents and it can be used for input frequencies of 40 to 1000 Hz.
The converter uses AC at between 90 and 240 V and can be mounted on DIN railing. The input, output and power supply are all isolated from each other to reduce noise.
The device is also designed so that its zero point and span can be externally adjusted. However, this is not necessary as they are pre-calibrated.
The base accuracy for the converter is ±0.2% FS and it has a temperature characteristic of ±0.02%FS/°C.
The unit weighs about 80 g and is encased in ABS resin. It can be used in temperatures up to 50 °C and has vibration resistance for frequencies of 10 to 55 Hz and amplitudes of 0.15 mm to 10 sweeps of 5 minutes each in each axis.
Outputs: 0 to 5 VDC; 1 to 5 VDC; 0 to 10 VDC; -10 to 10 VDC; -2 to 2 VDC; -2.5 to 2.5 VDC; -5 to 5 VDC; 0 to 4 VDC; 4 to 20 mA; 0 to 20 mA.
