ADLINK Express-TL COM Express Type 6 module

ADLINK Technology has introduced the Express-TL COM Express Type 6 module with Intel Core, Xeon W and Celeron 6000 processors and 8-core performance. The product is suitable for image processing and analysis, high-speed video encoding and streaming, medical ultrasound, predictive traffic analysis and other demanding applications.

Claimed to be the first COM Express module to support PCI Express Gen 4 x16, the device effectively doubles the bandwidth of previous COM Express modules. It is designed for rugged operating temperatures between -40 and +85°C, and can operate 24/7 in industrial settings with 10-year availability.

Intel UHD Graphics and Intel AVX-512 VNNI provide good artificial intelligence (AI) inferencing performance, with the former featuring support for four 4K independent displays including HDMI, DisplayPort (DP), LVDS, Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) and legacy VGA displays. The module also provides 2.5 GbE Ethernet and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, allowing >10 Gbps transfer rates.

Intel Time Coordinated Computing (TCC) combined with a time-sensitive networking (TSN) Ethernet controller allows Industry 4.0 factories to be smart, agile and increasingly autonomous while maintaining robustness. The module offers advanced tuning controls, immersive graphics and good connectivity, which enable more possibilities for AI, workload consolidation and other intensive computing demands.

With vibration resistance, a wide operating temperature range and good system performance, the module is designed to help shorten development cycles and reduce costs.
