Advantech has introduced the ASMB-310IR, a DP server board with CEB form factor that fits into both standard and smaller industrial-grade chassis for broad use among applications, such as medical imaging, industrial control and automation equipment, digital surveillance, and military simulators.
Featuring dual Xeon 5500/5560 series processors, six ECC registered DIMMs up to 48 GB capacity and expansion slots with high bandwidth support, the device is supplied with five to seven years of component supply longevity support and revision control.
The board is supplied with high-speed connectivity and expansion options including: four PCIe x8 (or two PCIe x16 via autoswitch) slots, one PCIe x4 slot, up to nine USB ports, two COM ports, and support for up to eight SAS/SATA HDDs.
One of the three built-in GbE LANs is dedicated to a remote management function that achieves improved redundant LAN and teaming.
In addition, its component placement allows full-length cards.
The device can support IPMI 2.0. It provides an OS-independent and cross-platform interface for monitoring - among other things - server system temperature, voltage and fan status, and it permits out-of-band management even when the main processors are not powered-on.
If the system fails or encounters a blue screen or any error messages, system power down or reset can be automatically enabled.
Redundancy features include: hot-swap HDDs, power supply units and cooling fans.
3-5-7 services means: three levels of service, five years of extended warranty and seven years of product supply.
