Advantech FPM-8151H rugged monitor range

The 15″ FPM industrial monitors are designed for harsh environments and are certified for use in the oil and gas industries. The FPM-8151H series is class 1, division 2 certified, meaning that it won’t cause explosions if gases, vapours and liquids are present.

With its NEMA4/IP65 protection and the 2.8 mm thick resistive glass panel, the front panel prevents dust, water and oil from entering the monitor when it’s being used in temperatures ranging from -20 to 60°C. A 316 L stainless steel front panel is included, making it suitable for food, beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical environments.

To increase flexibility the series has dual function support, meaning that users can choose to control the system using either a USB or RS232 connected controller; power it using either a Phoenix or a DC jack, and the display can be connected via either VGA or DVI-D ports.

For added reliability and lower power consumption, the monitor uses 5-wire and an LED backlit screen that reduces power consumption by 22% while increasing brightness by 12%.
