Advantech PPC-L128T and PPC-L61T panel PC range

Advantech has announced the next generation of its PPC-L128T and PPC-L61T panel PCs.

Both models are fanless and suitable for use in human machine interface (HMI) applications in factory automation, machine automation, equipment and intelligent services. The models have been enhanced to provide better performance as rugged and compact solutions.

The PPC-L128T has the same integrated features and ergonomic design as its predecessor. The latest release has been enhanced to provide better communications, an upgraded panel, better environmental support and a more resistive touch screen.

Benefits include: support for Win CE 6.0; high brightness LCD; anti-corrosion display.

The PPC-L61T uses less power. By employing a new LCD panel and using company technology to optimise the system, the PC achieves up to a 15% reduction in energy consumption compared with the previous model.

Luminance has increased from 400 to 700 cd/m² and the operating temperature range has been expanded to -30 to 85°C. These changes allow users to operate the device in a wider choice of environments such as outdoors and refrigerated warehouses.
