Anaren Xinger III femto-sized 3 dB hybrid coupler

The low-profile, high-performance X3C25F1-03S, the latest femto-sized coupler in the Xinger III range of products from Anaren, has been miniaturised to a 3 x 5 mm footprint without sacrificing electrical performance.

The 3 dB hybrid coupler is designed for small cell, LTE and WIMAX applications, specifically balanced power and low-noise amplifiers, plus signal distribution and other applications where low insertion loss and tight amplitude and phase balance is required. It can be used in high-power applications up to 25 W. Other features include: frequency range 2.3 to 2.7 GHz; isolation 26 dB; insertion loss 0.15 dB;  VSWR 1.12:1; phase 90°; amplitude balance ± 0.3 dB.

The device has been subjected to rigorous qualification testing and is manufactured using materials with coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE) compatible with common substrates such as FR4, G-10, RF-35, RO4003 and polyimide.
