Aplex APC-3082/3083 in-vehicle panel PCs

Aplex has released the APC-3082 and APC-3083 rugged in-vehicle panel PCs; the APC-3082 comes with Intel Atom E3845 and the APC-3083 comes with Freescale ARM Cortex A9 i.MX6 Dual Lite processors. The rugged design features IP66 protection and M12 connectors to provide waterproof and dustproof protection for outdoor harsh environments.

The sunlight-readable solution offers visibility in an outdoor environment and the fanless design with heat dissipation provides easy maintenance, simultaneously increasing efficiency and stability with the plastic enclosure. The ACC control with the ignition on/off delay is designed to help prevent system crashes due to sudden power down.

The wireless communication module (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/GPS/3G/LTE) offers connectivity to give immediate tracking and real-time location status updates to the control centre. The product is equipped with a functional keypad that contains a power on/off button, volume, lighting control and F1–F6 programmable buttons. Multiple mounting options (VESA/YOKE) are available to install in different kinds of vehicles.
