Automated Control Engineering West 6500 1/16 DIN simplified temperature controller
The West 6500 1/16 DIN simplified temperature controller is designed for basic electric heater applications and uses the latest technology to quickly gain and then maintain control. It has a simplified operator interface which makes it easy to use, set up and support, providing reliable control.
The device has a single three digit display, designed for maximum visibility. The operator can view the actual temperature, set point and alarm value. A green LED indicates that the control is either below, above or right on the set point. A red LED indicates the alarm status.
The controller is supplied with a specifically developed tuning algorithm for electric heater applications. This control requires no further tuning in most applications.
Other features include: West’s pre-tune and self-tune; constant display of both process and alarm status; set point lock security; and optional alarm output.
The device is supplied pre-configured from the factory.
