Avalue APC-2334 multitouch panel PC

Avalue has launched the APC-2334 touchscreen panel PC with a waterproof and dustproof front panel that can be cleaned and sterilised at any time. It also provides a wide array of optional expansion modules to meet different requirements for applications, including interactive public information kiosks, factory automation systems (HMI), automatic ordering systems in retail and long-term care wards.

The 23.8″, multitouch panel PC is equipped with 7th Generation Intel Kaby Lake i5 and DDR4-2400 high-speed memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB. Using a 10-point projected capacitive touch panel, it provides ultraresponsive touch, making it easy for the user to enlarge or shrink pages, even when wearing gloves. The wear- and scratch-resistant characteristics of the full-flat screen enable operation over a long period of time.

Shortcut keys below the screen may be configured according to individual preference, eg, for system on/off, turning on the reading light and screen brightness adjustment. To meet the requirements of different user applications, other features include built-in M.2 2230 and mPCIe slots, Wi-Fi support, NFC identification and a camera/microphone for remote videoconferencing. The IP65-level waterproof and dustproof front panel is easy to clean and maintain, and can be wiped with alcohol regularly for extra cleanliness.

The panel PC is suitable whether the user is building a smart healthcare, factory automation, smart retail or smart transportation system, or creating an AIoT or Industry 4.0 embedded solution.
