Avalue OFT-15W33 and OFT-21W33 open-frame panel PCs

Avalue Technology has launched the 15″ OFT-15W33 and 21″ OFT-21W33 panel PCs, with an open frame that gives users application flexibility and room for customisation. Installation can be done three ways: flush mounting, panel mounting or wall mounting. The ease of installation allows the panels to be integrated into any embedded application, making them suitable for interactive multimedia kiosks, industrial communication, factory automation and open HMI.

Weighing 2.5 kg, the OFT-15W33 measures only 46 mm thick, which frees up room for easy integration into any system. The OFT-21W33, which weighs approximately 4 kg, is meanwhile 52 mm. Both feature an Intel Celeron J3455 (max 2.3 GHz) quad-core microprocessor, support 4 GB DDR3L memory and provide good performance and high energy efficiency.

With a 10-point projected capacitive multi-touch screen, the OFT series provides a fast and agile touchscreen experience. Its aluminium shell is designed to improve heat dissipation efficiency while ensuring space saving and flexible installation in any industrial environment. The PCs are also equipped with a wide array of I/O interfaces, including 4x USB, 1x COM, 2x LAN and COM. Other ports, such as GPIO, can also be added according to the user’s requirements. The integration of various peripheral devices, such as MSR, RFID, WEBCAM, WIFI/BT and barcode scanners, expands system functions and applications.

Besides supporting mainstream operating systems, such as Windows 10 IoT and Linux, the series also supports x86 Android 8.1/9.0, allowing users and system integrators to integrate their existing software system rapidly.
