RFI Industries has released the TMD range of broadband TWT amplifiers.
The amplifiers cover the frequency range of 0.8 to 18 GHz in CW and 0.8 to 40 GHz in pulse. They are available with output powers up to 500 W for CW and up to 10 kW for pulse.
They have been designed for test and measurement applications, including EMI/EMC testing, radar and EW systems simulation and antenna and high power component testing.
Standard features include extensive power supply and TWT protection, input RF isolator, GPIB interface, input power factor correction, reflected RF power protection, RF output sample port and solid-state pre-amplifier.
By using a high efficiency, high frequency switching inverter for power conversion, the devices are compact and lightweight.
