Bourns says its circuit protection division has expanded its range of ceramic positive temperature coefficient thermistors for telecom overcurrent protection.

Designated the CMF-SDP series, the family provides improved resistance tolerance to ensure continuous circuit protection in user premise equipment, central office, access equipment and other telecommunications centre applications.

The devices are available in six form factors including a compact dual package that combines two resistance-matched thermistors together in a single housing to help telecommunications equipment manufacturers reduce the number of circuit protection devices required per board.
