The Concurrent Technologies AdvancedMC AM G6x/msd module is based on the latest generation of Intel processors.

The module is suitable for use in MicroTCA.4 based systems for high-speed physics, communications, instrumentation and test based applications.

For high-performance applications, it is available with a 4-core Intel Xeon E3-1505 M v6 processor running at 3.0 GHz, combined with up to 32 GB DDR4 memory.

For customers needing more modest performance at a lower price point, a variant is available, fitted with the Intel Core i3-7102E processor, which has 2 cores and runs at 2.1 GHz. These processor variants have Intel HD graphics that can support up to 4 K resolutions and three simultaneous displays for clear and responsive graphics.

It has direct attached storage including an onboard 64 GB SATA based micro solid state drive (SSD) and two sites for M.2 storage modules. The M.2 sites have PCI Express interconnects and support the Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) protocol for high-performance mass storage applications.

The product is designed to support the future Intel Optane range of 3D XPoint modules.

It has the option for dual 10 Gb Ethernet connectivity. This is designed to enable higher speed networking over long distances using fibre links.
