Crystal Resonator

Thursday, 14 June, 2001 | Supplied by: Soanar Limited

SaRonix has released a NKS6 subminiature crystal resonator.

The crystal is housed in a 3.5 x 61.2 mm ceramic case, making it the smallest commonly-available resonator available. The device is especially suitable for surface mounting in densely-populated PCB applications such as IDE disk drives, PCMCIA cards, portable PCs and other handheld products.

The crystals have a frequency range of 12 to 40 MHz (fundamental) and 40 to 100 MHz (third overtone) and can operate in temperatures from -20 to +70°C within a temperature tolerance of ±10 and ±30 ppm.

Frequency tolerances can be specified at ±10, 20, 30 or 50 ppm.
