Crystek Crystals CVSS-945 voltage-controlled crystal oscillator

Friday, 29 June, 2012 | Supplied by: Wireless Components

Crystek Crystals has launched the CVSS-945, a true sinewave voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO) providing -172.9 dBc/Hz noise floor at 1 MHz offset and ±20 ppm min APR pullability.

The device is available in the 9 x 14 mm SMD package and is engineered to MIL-STD-883 and MIL-STD-202 specifications.

It generates frequencies between 50 and 125 MHz, with output level of +5 dBm min into 50 Ω and harmonics lower than -25 dBc. The oscillator consumes 30 mA max current at 5.0 V and generates no subharmonics.

It is suitable for phase locked loop applications where the requirement is translating from 10 to 100 MHz, as an example.
