Wednesday, 13 July, 2011 | Supplied by: Wireless Components

Crystek’s CVCO55CC-0827-0840 voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) operates from 827 to 840 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.2 to 4.7. The VCO features a typical phase noise of -124 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and has good linearity. Output is typically -6.5 dBm.

The device is packaged in the SMD package. Input voltage is 5, with a max current consumption of 30 mA. Pulling and pushing are minimised to 0.05 MHz and 0.05 MHz/V. Second harmonic suppression is -18 dBc typical.

The VCO is suitable for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems and base stations.
