Crystek’s CPLL66-1600-2200 PLL/synthesiser

Thursday, 17 September, 2009 | Supplied by: Wireless Components

Crystek’s CPLL66-1600-2200 PLL/synthesiser operates from 1600 to 2200 MHz with a typical step size of 1000 kHz.

The deviceÂ’s construction wraps a VCO around a PLL in a package that’s only marginally larger than a VCO on its own and smaller than separate VCO/PLL modules.

The synthesiser is a complete unit needing only an external frequency reference and supply voltages for the internal PLL and VCO. It is programmed using a standard 3-line interface (data, clock and load enable).

Typical phase noise is -96 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset with minimum output power of +7 dBm. VCO voltage is 12 DC; PLL voltage is 3 DC. Second harmonic suppression is -15 dBc typical.
