Microchip Technology Inc has produced a certified full-speed, low-power USB 2.0 device PIC microcontroller portfolio with an internal clock. It is aimed for midrange 8-bit families and comprises 15 scalable MCUs.

The microcontrollers feature internal clock sources with the 0.25% clock accuracy necessary for USB communication, which saves on costs by eliminating the need for an external crystal.  Power consumption is a low 35 µA/MHz in active mode and 20 nA in sleep mode.
