Diagonal Fans

At the top end of the PAPST product range, the DV6200 series offers fans with both high flow rates, >500 m/h, and high static pressure.

At first glance diagonal fans only differ to a minor extent from the conventional axial fans. Intake is axial whereas exhaust is diagonal due to the rotor geometry. Diagonal fans, therefore, combine the structural features of both the axial and radial fans. In comparison to axial fans of the same dimensions and flow rate these types of fans achieve a considerably higher static pressure.

The low noise level is due to the optimum aerodynamic adaptation of fan housing and impeller. These fans are electronically commutated external rotor motors with electronic protection against reverse polarity and blocking.

The fans are available in various voltage and power categories. Other options include temperature-dependent speed control, diverse alarm and sensor signals.
