Digital-Logic MSM200X/XU/XP PC/104-Express Card
Backplane Systems has released the MSM200X/XU/XP PC/104-Express Card with an Atom processor, four COM and GPS + GSM/WLAN from Digital-Logic.
The Microspace board is used in applications such as battery-powered mobile computers, information terminals with video displays, game systems with music output, measuring instruments or telecommunication devices.
Besides a fast CPU, the device provides all standard PC interfaces, including ethernet, audio controller (HDA-AC97), four RS232 interfaces, one PATA and two SATA interfaces. The PCI/104-Express bus (PCI + PCIe), PCIe Minicard and six USB interfaces are also available, with the PCIe Minicard permitting the extension of the board with GSM or WLAN functions.
It can be equipped with a GPS receiver (COM4) and has power consumption of 6 W, allowing passive cooling.
The two options (X and XP) are equipped with the SMA200 Atom Z510/Z530 processor (1.1/1.6 GHz) and offer up to 1 GB RAM. For cooling, a heat spreader provides an extended operating temperature - 40 to +85 °C.
