Diodes low-dropout linear regulator

A pair of low-dropout linear regulators with industrial temperature rating of -40 to +85°C has been introduced by Diodes.

For applications including set-top boxes, routers and LCD monitors, the 300 mA, 150 mV dropout AP7335 and 600 mA, 300mV dropout AP7365 offer adjustable and fixed output voltage operation at an accuracy of 2% across the temperature range.

Input voltage is 2 to 6, and both LDOs can deliver an adjustable output voltage between 0.8 and 5.0 and fixed voltages of 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.0, 2.5, 2.8, 3.0, 3.3 and 3.9. Their low quiescent current of 35 µA gives savings in low-power and battery-operated products.

The regulators’ ability to drive low ESR 1 µF MLCC output capacitors helps improve stability and reduce circuit cost, while a high PSRR rating of 65 dB at 1 kHz ensures low-noise high-quality supplies for audio and RF applications. LDO robustness is ensured by integral overcurrent, overtemperature and short-circuit protection.
