E-Switch TL3300 SMT tactile switch

E-Switch has announced an SMT tactile switch - the TL3300 series that offers a life expectancy of 200,000 cycles with its silver-plated contacts.

The switch is available with multiple force options ranging from 160 to 520 g. Multiple actuators are also available. ‘A’ style at 7.30 mm high is suitable for attaching an additional cap, ‘C’ style at 8.5 mm high and ‘D’ style at 4.30 mm high. The size of the series tactile switch is 12 x 12 mm.

Specifications include: life expectancy up to 200,000 cycles; contact rating 50 mA, 12 VDC; contact resistance (initial max) 100 mΩ; function - SPST, off-(on), momentary; insulation resistance 100 Megohm min at 500 VDC; dielectric strength (1 min) - 250 VAC.

Applications include telecommunications, audio/visual equipment, medical, test instrumentation and peripherals.
