ELKO EP SHT-7 NFC-programmable digital time switch
ELKO EP has released the SHT-7 DIN rail-mounted time switch, which is equipped with a real-time clock. The switch is used for automatic switching on/off of electrical appliances (eg, heating, ventilation, pumps, street lighting) according to a planned daily or annual schedule. With the intuitive application interface, it is easy to set the on/off schedule and save up to 100 schedules.
The device can be programmed in two ways. The standard method is by using the push-buttons on the device and the built-in, easy-to-read LCD. The second method, which is more convenient and does not require touching the module, is using a smartphone with NFC (near-field communication) support and the dedicated iHC NFC application.
The memory and the timer setting are powered by a button-cell battery that protects the device against power failures. The controlled devices are connected using DIN standard screw terminals.
