Empower RF Systems 1205/BBM3K5OEL solid-state high-power amplifier

The 1205/BBM3K5OEL power amplifier is suitable for broadband mobile jamming, communications, general test and band-specific applications from 500 to 2700 MHz. The compact module utilises high-power GaN devices that provide good power density, high efficiency, wide dynamic range and low distortion.

The amplifier features instantaneous ultrabroadband performance, as well as built-in control, monitoring and protection circuits. High performance and efficiency are achieved by employing broadband RF matching networks and combining techniques, EMI/RFI filters, machined housings and qualified components.

Additional key features include: power output CW (Psat) of 30 W; power output @ 1 dB gain compression (P1 dB) of 20 W; small signal gain of 48 dB; small signal gain flatness (Pin = -20 dBm) of ±1 dB; operating voltage of 28 V; 50 Ω input/output impedance; and dimensions of 6″ x 3″ x 1″.
