ICP Electronics has released the Afolux POS series of all-in-one touch panel PCs, designed for applications where cost, rugged design and limited space are important.
The device is based on an AMD Geode LX 800 (500 MHz) CPU and supports up to 1 GB SODIM memory.
A range of I/O is available specially for POS applications including 2x USB 2.0, 2x RS232 COM ports, 1x RJ45 LAN port and 1x RJ12 cash drawer port. Resistant touch screen is standard on both the 12.1 and 15" LCDs.
The front panel is rated to IP64 offering resistance to dust and liquid.
