Fischer Connectors has introduced the rugged flash drive, specially designed for safe transport and storage of sensitive data in harsh environments.
The flash drive memory module is securely mounted within a rugged aluminium casing designed to provide full protection against extreme environmental conditions. Sealed IP68/69K even unmated, the USB flash drive is waterproof down to 120 m.
The drive is resistant to extreme operating temperatures (-40 to +85°C). In addition, it is protected from shock and vibration damage (withstands a minimum 26 x 1.5 m drop). The drive is equipped with a rugged protection cap.
Fitted with a signalling and protocol-certified, high-speed USB 2.0 flash drive, the device features a circular connector interface. Combined with durable encapsulation, the design offers a high level of data safety.
The standard drive is available in 4 GB capacity with an UltiMate original series connector interface (UP01, size 08, 4 contacts). Its flexible modular design including a large selection of body styles, sizes, contact configurations and memory capacities is suitable for custom solutions.
