High-temp LED mounts

Designed to provide improved LED and discrete component mounting, Bivar has announced its extruded nylon mount series of high temperature, self-retaining extruded mounts.

Extruded from high-temperature, 94 V-0 rated nylon, the series offers a 260ºC temperature-rated alternative to the existing ELM 4, 5, 7 series. The high-temperature material is blue, making it easy to distinguish from standard mounts.

The Pb-free LED mounts provide a permanent fixing and component lead alignment for simplified assembly.

The 3.8 mm diameter mount is designed for lead centres of 2.54 mm and is available in lengths of even multiples of whole millimetres. The unit allows lead placement in vertical slots featuring a self-retention design to securely retain LEDs or other discrete devices on the mount during assembly and is well-suited to enable high-density component placement.
